NOTES regarding the Treasure Hunt

Treasure hunt gifts and gift packages will be distributed more or less randomly among the various prize token locations. There may be an opportunity to meet with other winners later in the day of August 3, 2014 – most likely at a local restaurant – to swap prizes. This will be totally among and between winners, and will not involve the Treasure Hunt organizers.

Unless specified otherwise, winners will be asked to redeem their win / pick up their gift before the end of November, 2014.

All fulfilment (delivery) of gift / prizes will be between DONOR and WINNER. We will provide winner’s name (and email address for confirmation) to donors, and they can work out fulfilment (delivery) with winner.  The Treasure Hunt  cannot be involved – or responsible for fulfilment or non-fulfilment – especially for this number of gifts -- nor for confirming stated value of gifts.

Treasure Hunt gift (token) locations will be located mostly along Las Vegas, NM’s central / historic corridor (within walking or bicycling range) at ground level, involving no acrobatics or other physical skill or danger to find or recover. I WILL NOT INCUR ANY DANGER TO MYSELF OR OTHERS due to rushing to locations to recover prize tokens, nor by incurring disputes with other participants, and will NOT hold the Treasure Hunt or prize donors responsible for any harm caused directly or indirectly by my own actions or lack of courtesy and caution, nor anyone else’s.

TheTreasure Hunt is a community event and goodwill fundraiser, with the intent that a maximum of participants independently find and win prizes. Any attempt to “game the system” may be penalized at our discretion.
